We Reward Referrals

Like many small professional services firms, we rely on referrals as a major source of new business. And we believe it's only fair to reward those who put their name on the line recommending us.

Beginning February 17, 2004, we will be paying referral fees for any referrals, introductions or recommendations that result in a paid contract.

The reward structure is as follows:

• Year 1: 7% of fees received from the referred company
• Year 2: 5% of fees received from the referred company
• Year 3 and beond: 3% of fees received from the referred company

Most of our contracts are between $10,000 and $40,000, which translates to $700 to $2,800 in referral fees. And most of our clients engage us for additional work later on, for which you would also receive a referral fee.

Terms

To avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest, employees or principals of our client companies are not eligible for a referral fee on contracts with that company. However, if an employee of a client company refers us to a different company and that referral results in a contract, that person will receive a commission.

Only service fees for services performed by Chris de Heer Design — not including expenses, subcontractor's fees, or taxes — will be used as the basis for calculating referral fees.

Referrals must be in the form of an active introduction whereby the referrer explicitly recommends Chris de Heer Design to a prospective client.

Referrers must have a pre-existing social or business relationship with Chris de Heer Design, its principals, or employees.
